Welcome to Frugal Freelance! I’m so glad you dropped by and hope you find out content to be helpful and informative.
Who Am I?
My name is Austin, and I’ve been a freelancer since 2014. I started the freelance journey as a means to earn money during college, but I saw the potential freelancing had after only a few months.
Soon, I found that working as an independent contractor gave me the finances and freedom to see the world. All I needed was a hostel and the internet to get my work done.
Since 2014, I have worked with dozens of clients, managed teams of writers, and gained so many new skills. Freelancing has been a life-changing venture, and I hope you also get to enjoy all the perks that come with it.

Why Frugal Freelance?
I started Frugal Freelance after noticing a lack of information for freelancers. I was visiting a host of sources, from general finance blogs to news sites, to get financial help for freelancers. The information was often in conflict with other sources, and I was spending too much time bouncing between these sites.
I started Frugal Freelance to create a community that offers the best financial advice for freelancers. With my team, we answer common issues that freelancers new and old will likely face. From how to find entry-level jobs to locating companies that offer large business loans, we help freelancers and self-employed workers get the most bang for their buck.
